This is a full-time nine-month position. The certified Athletic Trainer reports to the Athletic Director and assists in overseeing all training aspects of the Academy's athletic program consisting of 31 middle school, junior varsity and varsity teams. This person will establish methods and protocol for injury prevention, recognition/evaluation, management and rehabilitation, as well as develop a strategic plan for the growth and development of the program.
Lexington Christian Academy seeks an experienced and innovative Director of Technology Services who will manage the Academy's technological infrastructure, including networks, servers, internet access, information security, emerging technologies and computer operations. The Director is responsible for the Academy's strategic technology development, its technology vision, its project planning and management for efficient and effective technology use, its Web presence, management of the Technology Services Department's budget and policies and supervision of one additional staff member. Additionally, the Director will oversee the technology training of faculty and staff and work with the Headmaster and Academic Director to design and teach the appropriate technology to the Academy's students.
The Development Office of the Academy is seeking an administrative assistant to provide support for the Capital Campaign efforts and Alumni relations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing the departmental database, producing reports, providing support for special events including all campaign events, processing donor gifts and receipts, coordinating mailings, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, reviewing and editing proposals, solicitation letters, and departmental publications, and assisting with the designing of brochures, nametags, event materials, and other publications.
Lexington Christian Academy is seeking an experienced nurse with current Massachusetts's registration in nursing, certification in CPR and effective interpersonal relations with students, staff, and parents. This is a half-time position to begin with the 2001-2002 academic year. This person reports to the Academic Director and will assess and evaluate students' health status, provide primary and emergency health care, administer medication, maintain cumulative health records on all students, confirm eligibility for sports, interpret student health needs to teachers and other school personnel, and promote a healthful, and safe, on-site environment for students and staff.
